They act like this is abnormal
Doesn't everyone keep a mummified body of someone special. It goes well with the end table in our house.
I also like the fact that they went ahead and added that it was found in a home on a "quiet street".
I mean you wouldn't want to wake the mummy up or anything.

I have heard of cultures keeping a body around for a week or so for viewing purposes, but upstairs? for how long?
Perhaps there was no money for burial or for cremation.
Weird.
