Who would have ever dreamt something like this? In a catastrophe so huge, how could you ever acheive any organized recovery, identification, etc. Just a mess.

I visited with a guy today who had gotten a pretty big wake up call. You know one of those times in life like, "I could have died", "I have lost everything", or situations like what the people are facing in the wake of the hurricane. I also came seconds away from witnessing a car crash out in front of our church today. What would happen to some people without Wake up calls? Would we, in a sense, sleep our life away and never come to grips with what truly matters in life? Could we live without them? Where do we place the credit for them? Is it just LIFE? God? Nature? just the way things are? It is odd how a time like this can totally change your perspective for the day. THOUGHTS???

When I hear this guy speak or teach it just seems like he always delivers one of those "ah Yes" moments to me. Very passionate. Very scholarly yet pratical.
